Polish Academic and former head of Polish-Asia Research Institute Radosław Pyffel has been appointed as a deputy director of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on July 18.
The second edition of the China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo follows the Belt and Road Initiative, Yangtze River Economic Belt Strategy and The Suzhou Guidelines for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries and takes the theme of Win-win cooperation through deepened cooperation. By staging forums, exhibitions, investment symposiums, and cultural exchanges, the Expo is expected to make an important platform for China-CEEC cooperation in all fronts and contribute to the implementation of the Belt & Road Initiative and further opening-up of the country.

On February 24, 2016 representatives of China Council for the Promotion International Trade (CCPIT) were hosted by PARP. The meeting which took place in Warsaw, created a good opportunity to discuss common and future activities of the China-CEEC Business Council in the 2016. The aim of CCPIT visit to Poland was to submit an application documents in order to register the CCPIT office in Warsaw. The newly registered office will start its activities later in 2016.
Xi Jinping will visit Czech Republic in latter half of the March 2016. It will be the first time when Chinese head of state will visit the country since its independence.
